Members of all Victorian Community Renewal programs gathered today to celebrate our achievements and share knowledge and ideas between the different groups.
Held at the MCG the attendees heard Speeches from Joan Kirner - Communities Ambassador and Peter Bachelor Minister for Communities.
Both Joan & Peter were very pleased with the positive atmosphere of the gathering and the energy and ideas coming from the various groups. It was suggested that other train groups make a point of meeting regularly to share ideas and build networks for mutual benefit.
CBTS President Paul Coniglio certainly made sure he made a point of explaining the role of the CBTS and our plight to gain funding for the Chelsea Station Master Plan formed by the City of Kingston some time ago.
CBTS is currently in discussions with The Victorian Department of Transport to see how we can work with them our existing members to co ordinate improvements to both stations.
Copies of the presentation made to The Department of Transport are available on request to all CBTS members,
